Hey People! I have been working hard on her, and here she is.....my latest recycle. I sure do love her, boo hoo, but she has to go. She is ready to go to a good, and loving home. I found this china cabinet on craig's list. The minute I saw her, I knew, she was something special. I checked out the make of furniture, and it is a good one! She is very well-made, but, was very neglected. Now, she is a beauty queen. She wanted to wear red, so I found a great, "barn red", did a little demolition, a little redesign, and she is fabulous! A touch of English country, I think! Enjoy, and if you want her, contact me at
alittlecountryhouse@gmail.com! or, if you have a piece of furniture you hate, but want to love, I can face-lift it for you! Love!
Hello Lovely!
You are a little depressing...we need to do some rehab...

The glass shelves were missing, as were some doors, so I decided to rip the front off and make her "open"

She is quite lovely! Or as my 8 year old would say, "Sweeeet!"
I just finished a china cabinet very similar to yours...be thankful that a couple of those doors were missing...what a pain to try and paint, even after hubby took the back off! I am a huge red fan and your cabinet is just so stinkin' cute in all of her red glory!! I know you are enjoying her and that she makes you so happy when you see her. :-)
Your cabinet is stunning in her new red dress! You did a great job.
I am loving this transformation....great job!!!! hugs...cleo
What a beautiful job you did on this. The red is stunning! Your pheasant picture is so cute! Don't you love Goodwill! Oh, and I did have to go back and say "a spot of tea" with an accent!!!
What a beauty-LOVE! I'm your newest follower-stop by for a visit!
I understand! She is lovely and you did a great job.
Visiting from TT&J! Nice looking refinish!
It turned out great. Thanks for sharing. I like keeping the inside white.
Loving your red beauty. I really like that it's open and you took the doors off. I love Annie's dark wax, but also been hearing a lot about Howard's dark paste wax, and a lot cheaper. Love that pheasant, and love GW. Thanks for sharing your creative inspiration at Sunday's Best Party!
